WELCOME TO KENDALE INDUSTRIES, INC.

We know our way around washers.

We manufacture litterally thousands of diesets for round washers. This on-the-shelf tooling is available for use by Kendale customers at no charge and includes dies for most industrial standards and thousands of special washers. If we don't have the right size, we can quickly produce tooling to the exact size needed.

Our compound washer diesets, capable of producing as many as 15 washers in a single stroke, are lig ground to finite dimensions on numerically controled tooling. We can manufacture flat washers from almost and sheet material that does not stretch or shatter. This includes most metals as well as some Nylon and Teflon TM composites.

Our stampings leave an impression.

Our die designers, fabricators and press operators have made Kendale a leader in the stamping industry. We engineer and build our own dies, and by utilizing the latest technology, we we consistently provide our customers with reduced costs.

Our stamping capabilities cover many types of grades of ferrous and nonferrous materials, and our in-house tooling enables rapid modification to meet your objectives.

Kendale History

Kenneth A. Honroth founded Kendale in 1960 to produce a wide variety of stamped metal parts. The company was then, and still is, dedicated to Total Customer Satisfaction.

Kendale Washer & Stamping started in a 6,500-sq.ft. plant with 32 employees and 5 stamping presses, ranging from 22 ton to 60 ton. Today Kendale Industries, Inc. (name changed in 1967 due to addition of other product lines) has expanded to two buildings totaling 193,000-sq.ft. with over 95 employees and more than 44 presses, 4 ton to 200 ton.

In less than one year, Kendale outgrew the original 6,500-sq. ft. plant, located on Sweeney Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio and moved to a 22,000-sq. ft. plant on the same street.

Four years later the construction of Kendale’s new 32,000-sq. ft. plant in Independence, Ohio was completed and all operations were moved there.
The Independence plant was increased to 55,000-sq. ft. in 1967 and again to 63,000-sq. ft. in 1969.

In October of 1973, Kendale more than doubled its production capabilities by moving all of the stamping operations to its present Corporate Headquarters, a 90,000-sq. ft. plant in Valley View, Ohio as well as continuing operations in the Independence plant. The Independence plant now also houses Kendale’s Distribution Center.

Kendale is determined to succeed in becoming a world-class global competitor and the finest manufacturer in the metal stamping industry. Our enviable record of growth is a direct result of the unsurpassed quality promoted by conscientious employees, competitive pricing, research and development of new products and an aggressive sales program.
